The Office of the Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Studies helps to coordinate strategic research and graduate recruitment planning in the Faculty. It supports faculty and student research activities by organizing grant production workshops and assisting in the preparation of external funding applications. The office also provides internal funding in aid of individual and collaborative research, scholarly publication, conference organization and travel.

Home to Canada Research Chairs, Concordia University Research Chairs, and research centres, our Faculty is recognized nationally and internationally for the high and innovative quality of its individual and team research.

These research strengths are integral to our goal of providing leading-edge graduate education and training in more than 35 PhD and Master's programs that we offer in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.

Graduate Studies

This office helps to coordinate strategic research and graduate recruitment planning in the Faculty. It supports faculty and student research activities by organizing grant production workshops and assisting in the preparation of external funding applications.

The Associate Dean is also responsible for approving student travel requests and, in conjunction with the School of Graduate Studies, and graduate student funding.
