Transfer applicants are considered on the basis of both their university and previous studies. If you are transferring from another accredited university, you will be considered for an appropriate level of placement within the undergraduate program at this University. Credit may be awarded for university-level courses that are equivalent to Concordia courses and appropriate to the program to which you are applying. However, the evaluation of transfer credit cannot be made until a formal application and all necessary supporting documents have been received.
There are, however, some special conditions attached to the granting of transfer credits. The number of credits awarded depends on the character, quality and quantity of the work completed. A minimum of 45 credits must be taken at Concordia University. The BEng, the BA (Early Childhood and Elementary Education), the BEd (TESL), and the BFA (Specialization in Art Education) require that a minimum of 60 credits be completed at Concordia University. Unless otherwise authorized by the Faculty to which the student has been admitted, these will be the last 45 credits, or the last 60 in the case of the BEng, the BA (Early Childhood and Elementary Education), the BEd (TESL), and the BFA (Specialization in Art Education).
