Posting courses

Departments post courses that have become available for part-time faculty three times a year, respecting the following deadlines:

• February 15 for summer courses (Please note recent change of date effective June 15, 2011.)
• May 1 for fall/winter courses
• October 1 for new winter courses

Keep in mind that once these courses are posted, they cannot be removed or reassigned to non-regular part-time member.

Course postings are now submitted through FRIS (Faculty Resource Information System) by the above deadlines

The Office of the Provost now ensures delivery of the hard copy of the postings to CUPFA. There is no longer a need for hard copies of the postings to be submitted to the Office of the Provost.

The posting must contain the usual information of the course name, term, section, credits, schedule and application deadline. The qualifications required for each course must be clearly spelled out on the posting.
