Visiting Students

All students currently studying at a University outside of Quebec and who would like to take courses in the Faculty of Arts and Science, without being on an official exchange program, must receive approval from the Faculty prior to being admitted as a Visiting Student.

In order for the Faculty to evaluate your request we require the following information:

  1. Transcript from your school indicating your academic standing as well as your program of study. Students must be in good academic standing at their home institution if they wish to be accepted as a visiting student.
  2. A letter of permission from the Program Advisor or Registrar's Office at your home institution indicating the courses that you are interested in taking. Please remember that priority for course registration is given to Concordia Students requiring the courses for their current program of study. If sufficient space is available you will be permitted to register.
  3. Complete the Visiting Request Form [PDF] and submit it along with all the relevant documents to the Birks Student Service Centre at LB-185.
