Q: Who do I talk to if I think there is something wrong with my tuition fees?
A: You should contact the Student Accounts Office.

Q: What do I do if I need a course for my major and all the sections are full?
A: 2. Please call your department or your department advisor.

Q: I want to take a course at McGill, what do I do?
A: Visit the CREPUQ website for details on the interuniversity agreement and fill out and submit the form electronically.

Q: I'm thinking of doing a semester abroad, where can I get info?
A: Start by making an appointment with your departmental advisor to review the procedures for applying for study abroad. Then start visiting websites of the universities which you are interested to collect information about courses, semesters, lodging, academic requirements, language of instruction, etc. Keep in contact with your departmental advisor so that you may be sure to complete the applications forms properly. You should also contact Concordia International for vital information concerning Mobility Bursary and the universities with whom Concordia has exchange agreements. It is a sometimes long process to apply, but the rewards of international study are great!.

Q: If I was sick on the day of my exam, what should I do?
A: Make sure to get a doctor’s note, then go to the Birks Student Service Centre and fill out a form (link) to request to take the exam at a later date. This form is called a request for a deferred exam. For further details, please visit the Examination Office website.

Q: If I miss my exam because of non-medical unforeseen circumstances, what should I do?
A: You still need to go the Birks Student Service Centre to fill out the form to request to take the exam at a later date. However, you may also contact Student Academic Services to discuss your situation.

Q: How do I add a minor to my studies?
A: This can be done by contacting your departmental advisor.

Q: I want to switch Faculties, what do I do?
A: Fill out a degree transfer at the Birks Student Service Centre. There is a $40 fee for this.

Q: What do I do if I have failed my academic year?
A: You will receive an e-mail and letter from the Office of the Registrar by early June. This letter will detail the steps you must follow in order to apply for readmission to the University and to the Faculty of Arts and Science. Please read the instructions carefully and complete the form by the specified deadline so that your application can be assessed. You will be contacted by one of the advisors in Student Academic Services once your application has been reviewed.
